This Breastfeeding Week, Himalaya BabyCare created a platform at Makali Anaganwadi, a child-care and mother-care center sponsored by the government, to conduct interactive sessions with rural women who have little access to healthcare information, and medical experts related to breastfeeding. Approximately 100 mothers and young, unmarried women in the age group between 18 and 30 years attended the session, which was led by Bangalore-based renowned Lactation Consultant, Mrs. Joyce Jaiseelan. Throughout the session, Mrs. Joyce emphasized the importance of breastfeeding and its health benefits for children and mothers.
